Upcoming Events
In-Person Professional Forum:
New Directions in Research Assessment in Service of the Researchers
On October 9, 2025, the CoARA National Chapter Hungary organises its first independent, full-day professional forum, held in person. The event will focus on researchers, aiming to showcase the reforms and innovations taking place in research assessment.
Hosted in cooperation by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), the HUN-REN Headquarters, and the CoARA Boost Project, the event seeks to present opportunities for reforming research assessment through both Hungarian and international examples. It also aims to initiate a dialogue among researchers, institutional leaders, and funders.
Speakers will include Hungarian and international representatives of the CoARA initiative. We are honoured to welcome two international experts of CoARA, Erzsébet Tóth-Czifra, programme manager of CoARA Secretariat, and Sean Sapcariu, the coordinator of WG on Experiments in Assessment.
The forum is intended to provide important information for all stakeholders in the Hungarian scientific community, including researchers, representatives of research-performing organizations, science funders, and policymakers.
