Working Groups + National Chapters
CoARA’s Working Groups

Working Groups are key communities of practice that work to implement research assessment reform in specific thematic areas. Led by Working Group Co-Chairs, there are currently 13 active Working Groups, contributing to CoARA on a voluntary basis with the aim to advance research assessment reform across different thematic streams by producing tangible outputs and recommendations.
Working Groups are open to CoARA members who are interested in getting involved, exchanging experiences, and contributing to outputs that support the implementation of reform commitments.
CoARA’s National Chapters

National Chapters are regional hubs for CoARA, dedicated to advancing research assessment reform while addressing the diversity of considerations, challenges, and needs of national contexts. To date, there are 18 active National Chapters addressing relevant issues for the advancement of research assessment reform for different types of organisations in a given country.
